a neat little Idea for Ekko

what if 1.Ekko's rewind now used a charge system storing up to 1/2/3 charges but no longer dealt damage 2. Ekko had Tahm Kench's grey hp showing how much would be healed when he re-winded time 3.people Ekko attacks have a hologram attached to them similar to Ekko and they're also affected by his rewind

this way he actually plays similar to his trailer and people stop crying about eating 1k damage from his ult

I know this is probably impossible since spaghetti code but what do you guys think?

I guess ever since Tank Ekko became a thing people have stopped but before alot of people did.

a full AP Ekko can still one shot someone with ult Alone. It has a 130% AP ratio.

actually it can. A fed lux with mejais can 1 shot a squishy champion with her ult (case in point i was fed vs a zilean and 1 shot him with my ult multiple times). So it makes sense that ekko's ult with better ap scaling could do the same.

Build MR and HP. Problem solved.

Ekko is in a great spot balance wise. His ult does indeed hit hard, but that is appropriate considering how hard it is to hit.

Also about Tank Ekko, you need to actually build AP on him in order to do damage. If you build Tank, then his ult doesnt do very much damage at all.

im not saying ekko is op or strong, i was simply stating this his ult can in fact, 1 shot someone

Yeah, if they have no HP or MR and you have a full AP build.

In that situation, it is possible to 1 shot someone with his ultimate. But I think that it is fair to punish someone for building stupidly. By one shotting them with Ekko ult.

Yeah no it totally can i've had 100-0 triple kills happen before with it. Only if you're crazy fed and they're pretty dumb though.

again man, IM NOT MAKING ANY KIND OF ARGUMENT HERE. You said SPECIFICALLY "His ultimate alone will never 100-0 an enemy champion". I'm saying that your use of NEVER was incorrect, I AM NOT IN ANY WAY discussing ekkos balance state or any kind of situational event.

As a person who plays ekko a lot (I would say an ekko main, I guess):

The 3 charges thing will probably be too difficult to balance. A lot of the time I use the ult to escape (I'd give it a rough 4/5 uses are escapes compared to offense, probably less though) and healing was already great on that.

And you have no idea how stupidly strong rewinding an enemy would be.

So I'm going to vote no to this, though I could see how you thought it might work.
