Just look at champions that are meta at mid lane. This is just weird. Kass and Zed are too strong. Kata (I play her) shouldn't be able to win almost all match-ups. Zoe is actually not as bad, but still needs a small nerf. The whole mid lane is a fiesta. Good that I didn't move to mid and stayed in jungle. I wouldn't handle it mentally.
Yeah good u stayed in a role where even if you 3-buff the enemy and get both scuttles early and keep powerfarming you will hit 6 at the same time as the duo lane. Jungle is in a great spot....
kat definitely doesnt win all matchups, she gets murdered by diana and vlad without them even trying + people seem to have a thing for taking bruisers mid now which feels really bad as kat since most of them have some way to negate your burst then proceed to butt pound you.
Yeah, I main mid and I absolutely loathe this meta. It is nothing but extremely overpowered, overloaded, assassins that require zero effort to click three buttons, delete you, delete the JG, roam to bot lane with more speed than you could (after wave clearing faster than wave clear mages can), with zero mana and lots of healing so they make it there fresh, and then deleting bot lane.
Your choices? Play a handful of champions that can counter assassins, hope they do not play one of the assassins that counter those picks (Talon, Zed and Katarina can win most matchups no matter what nowadays), and also manages to roam better so when you ping your other lanes and they ignore your ping they feed them.
Oh... and you used to outscale them.... Haha No... not any more. They buffed assassins scaling (especially Zed) and /increased/ their ability to stop you from having counterplay... because that was what we needed in mid lane.
