Giving Elise some gameplay based power.
We all know that Elise used to be tough to deal with when her abilities did more damage. We also know that after all the nerfs, she's a bit weak right now. In order to bring her back into the light, we have to find a way to give her power in a healthy way.
#My proposal Her spiderlings don't seem to be much of a threat to champions. This because there isn't often a case where they can do their damage reliably as minion AI and pathing is a bit crappy. The most notable case is with fleeing targets as they hardly take spiderling damage. We can help the situation with the following change:
Neurotoxin applies a debuff to the target which enrages spiderlings. This enrage drastically increases spiderling MS, aggro distance and aggroes to the target for X seconds. Venomous Bite can extend this debuff by Y seconds. (The cool spider army jump stays of course)
#Argumentation This gives Elise players an incentive to properly shift forms while adding a gameplay based threat rather than a raw stat threat. Also gives a bit more depth to Neurotoxin. Let's be fair, that skill is boring and uninspired. Furthermore, it supports her identity as a spider Queen as she can more reliably control her spiderlings. (Neurotoxin for focus, Venomous Bite for the sticking power and Skittering Frenzy for the AS buff).
The idea here is that the fleeing opponent truly gets the feeling that he's getting overrun by these nightmarish creatures. The counterplay for her opponent is to kill the spiderlings, try to get out of aggro range or cleanse the debuff. Thoughts?
