there is no reason

it doesnt do it for on-hit items, it doesnt do it for red buff so why on earth when i block kalista with braum's e do i get three spears stuck in me thats is beyond ridiculous

Then don't Unbreakable against Kalista next to a bunch of minions for no reason. You learn your lesson or you going to keep doing it? Your shield isn't your strength against her, it's your slow and stun.

Um...most people try not to stand next to each other and let a Hurricane Kalista stack spears on all of them. This situation will not be much of a problem by itself, so you're having a hissy fit over nothing. If you don't want to eat Rend stacks that were supposed to go to something else, then don't take actions that will make it happen. Sounds like you just can't cope with simple mechanics.
