I always believed casters when they said Kog had to stay rooted to get his damage out

Thanks to this marvelous item damage focus is pretty much thrown out the window so you can just spam 'a' and mouse clicks away.

Kalista magically became 10 times easier when that item became meta on her.

I dont see how the 1% of the 1% at the highest skill cap somehow represents reality. The truth is even at that guys (or girls, :D) skill level, he could be dealing more damage if he was standing still with his W active. I dont think any human can orb walk at the exact same speed that kog can attack late game.

For all intents and purposes, he was still rooted to deal his damage (he stayed within roughly 100-150 units of where he started until he stopped attacking altogether).

Additionally, he was nowhere near the 5.0 attack speed range where you are actually self rooted in order to get your DPS off. Leaving yourself at around 3.5 with W on is the smarter build anyway though.

Not that that wasn't impressive, but I'm pretty sure they weren't keeping up with their full attack speed, there.

Cool vid I guess, but he's not really going anywhere, so....(?) He's moving at maybe 30-50 units per step. Also, he has swifties + runaans, so he's able to move quickly in a targeted direction.

I'm pretty sure this player also turned up his mouse speed settings, which can you do both in-client and also within your PC's own settings. With runaans, he can just click 1 enemy and it'll tag two more. This would be truly impressive if he had to pick 1 enemy to focus.

At 5.0 attack speed, he does have to stand still.

He hit 3.6 at max.

Korean servers don't look fun at all. It looks hyper competitive to the point that you can't go even without exhausting yourself

I saw Doublelift doing this in his Kog game yesterday vs C9. It's pretty insane how with high enough speed, you can just mash your mouse button to kite and do massive damage.

I would love it if Kog's W actually rooted him when he pops it. Make it so he can cancel it early ala DBC or Garen's spin to win or whatever.

If Kog is supposed to be a turret champ, let him be a turret champ.

Lol that was actually pretty sick, the "wiggle" from spam clicking while attacking makes it even better.
