Balance crisis

I usually don't cry much about the balance, but today I played a game, which made me realize how awful the current state of the balance is.

I played Anivia . I'm not good at her, but I tried improving at her. The game ended up with me rage quitting. Why is that? My opponent was a Nami . Anivia is so weak, that early game even a champion, who wasn't even supposed to be played at mid, outfarms and outpokes her. The game felt really hopeless, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't poke, my mana was running out, I couldn't do anything, and it was infuriating. Anivia isn't hard to play, she is just overloaded with way too many weaknesses, that makes her totally unplayable, because her early game is just beyond awful. You just can't call a champion hard to play, who in reality isn't hard to play, but you artifically make her agonizing to play with. Meanwhile others are overloaded with mechanics and damage with literally zero drawbacks, but you keep buffing them, because there are players who just refuse to learn them.

So shortly: Anivia needs 2 items to be actually called a champion. Until then, she is nothing. No champion should have so severe mana issues, that short trading exhausts her reserves completely. And in this aggressive meta such thing is bound to happen frequently. She can't farm with her abilities, she can't do anything, because that's going to leave her with zero mana and then she is done for. I wanted to learn her, because her kit seemed really unique and fun, but she just has no place in this game anymore, because she is way too agonizing to play with. And you think she is fine that way she is. She is a critically underpowered champion.
