@Riot So what is the purpose of dropping everyone an entire league at the start of each season?
IMO It just causes frustration and bad matchmaking.

To drop the boosted animals to lower levels.
They dont know what theyre doing. There is literally no sense in dropping solo players. Theyre just dumb fucks
Purging boosted players or those who don't deserve their rank. You maintain a high mmr and gain more LP per win that usual after a reset, so if you are good enough to get back up to where you were (or farther) you'll be able to do it easily.
