A note to non-supports about vision

I know most non-supports don't like to buy pinks, you want to save up for those power spike items I understand. I'm very guilty of this, tbh. I don't like to think I'm spending that gold just so the enemy jungler can walk by and kill it.

However, if you buy a single pink ward and place it in a defensive position in a bush in your own jungle, it can often sit there for 10+ minutes undistrubed, especially at lower ranks. This has a bunch of beneficial effects for a very small gold cost. You can probably get though the entire lane phase with only replacing it once or twice.

It frees up your team's yellow trinket / sightstone wards for more aggressive vision into the river and enemy jungle. As a suppor or junlger not needing to replace defensive wards in your jungle means so much more vision in other parts of the map.

Here are a few examples of defensive ward locations where your pink can sit quietly and give vision for a long time before being destroyed in many games. Especially at lower ranks.

• A pink ward in the tribush near gromp is rarely contested and gives you vision of enemy tower dives or enemies stealing Gromp
• A pink ward in either of the bushes near your Red Buff can save your jungler from invades or spot the solo laners rotating for ganks
• A pink ward on the edge of the bush near bot lane 2nd turret is almost never cleared and gives vision of some red buff invades
• A pink ward in the bush at the raptor camp can spot tower dives or ambushes and is a frequent location for enemy wards
• A pink ward in the blue-buff bush gives your jungler vision for turning that scary corner into Blue/Gromp and spots invades into your blue
