"he's good in pro play" is just a meme. Look at his winrate in worlds. It was like ~40% before yesterday's games. Now it's 32%. Look his performance in games. I don't get why he's a contested pick. The pros may think he's good but the results say otherwise. I would say it's an NA issue but other regions have picked him as well with generally bad results.
Meanwhile in solo queue he might as well not exist.

It also bothers me. Why pick a champ if he somehow always loses ? I like the flashy ults in pro play but i really think he kinda sucks

I think the problem us that he is unique, in that micro is everything fir his damage do E Q aa W aa E aa Q and that is a lot of dmg. He is a less mobile ahri with poibt click cc. He requires skill but is amazing if you actually play him right and use ult proactive vs reactive

From a theorycraft perspective he looks appealing but results are what matter.
