"Redemption is so good its mandatory on all supports"

so is item 3085 on most adc so is item 3031 so is item 3071 on a big group of ad bruisers so is item 3165 on most mages so is item 3078 on most skirmishers

I will be honest i like the item and it its right up there with Riot's vision active items that contribute to gameplay.

that being said perhaps the damage portion of the active ain't needed no one gets its for that anyway and ive KSEd with a couple of times too (unintentionally)

btw if anyone wants to have fun with morde Mordekaiser build redemption + windspeaker blessing with runic from resolve tree and laugh as you are walking around with 39% increased shields and healing. and never die

Mordekaiser support? You had my attention, but now you have my upvote!

Difference is that Redemption and Locket take away agency from any all-in champs...which makes up around half of the current roster.

There's no realistic way to work around Redemption or Locket.

i build it on my all of my "all in" champs so idk what you mean with this.

Redemption is overpowered. Runaan's is overtuned. IE is overtuned. Cleaver on ranged is abuse. Morello's is like the only universal AP item besides Void Staff. Trinity is abused.

The issue I have with redemption is that the active is almost TOO impactful. I wouldn't mind it so much if a support couldn't completely turn over a fight by building an item (turns League of Legends into redemption wars, whoever uses it better wins).

Supports meaning enchanters? or anyone going into the bottom lane with the ADC?

Ultimately redemption has stats that benefit Enchanters really well. What does that do to the rest of the support champion pool? Does if force Wardens to pick up redemption over a more tankier support time? (like knights vow) Does it push wardens completely out of the meta because of it's power on enchanters?

Not saying I know the answers to those questions. I'm not even saying mandatory items are a problem on supports. (Sightstone has been mandatory for years) I am saying however that it can be bad, if it severely limits the meta, and limits what's viable.

no i build it on Nautilus as well since both CoC and his W benefit from the passive
