So whats the counterplay to this new Kayle/Yi strat?

Meddler the support main has buffed support items so heavily that now there is this amazingly fun combo to run.

Kayle/Lulu/Karma top Yi/Jax/Xin Jungle Soraka support and then Waveclear/poke mid/marksman

Kayle builds like a support, item 3504 item 3109 Soraka builds like she ususall does Yi builds glass cannon.

Yi alphas in to take off 40% of your entire teams health and bashes your face. If you CC him, he gets a full protection from Kayle/Soraka. If you try to fight him slowly, they just continue to spam their heals and shields.

Worst case, he feels threatened he just runs away.

You shut Kayle down? Oh good thing support items cost nothing. You shut Yi down? Good thing all his stats are free and/or provided by Kayle

You can't group and push another lane, because Ziggs just clears all waves instantly, and the dynamic duo just burns through towers.

I have seen it spammed for about a week now, never seen it lose. You ban Yi, they pick someone else who gets auto modifiers for free. You ban Kayle, they pick other shield/babysitting supports capable of solo laning.

What do you do against this cancer?

It's not even overpowered or meta breaking. You're sacrificing your top laner to play a second support role, when many junglers sacrifice their role to play a support role for the top laner.

I have seen it spammed for about a week now, never seen it lose.

Oh fine, I wonder where is the challenger flex 5v5 team with a 50 - 0 record abusing it to be top ladder then =)

This strat is mostly used to powerlevel accounts, quickly, so the fact they win comes mostly from the fact the players are smurfs.

This isn't anything ground breaking. It's like a juggermaw comp. ban the carry or shut them down early and force them to farm it out while you take objectives. Let the game drag on and you'll suffer late, putting all the eggs in the solo carry basket has always been a legitimate strategy for coordinated teams.
