[D] Dota 2 for LoL players

This is for players that really want Solo Q and won't play without it.

Dota 2 actually has both a dynamic queue and a solo queue btw, so after RIOT confirms that they won't be making a solo queue, you can learn to play Dota 2. I know I will.

How dare you question the great Riot Lyte in his infinite wisdom? He has a PhD in psychology dammit and his word is LAW! Now buy some Hex boxes.

I would play if it was free to play.

It IS free to play, I downloaded it on Steam absolutely free just last week. Uninstalled it just this week. Was free the entire time.

PRE WARNING WARNING. This shit is forever.

No kidding.

Kinda sad it didn't go over tower Aggro though, as that seemed to be the main thing I struggled with when picking up DotA.

Towers there attack the closest enemy to them that's attacking them back. Minions prioritize not-structures over structures and will all peel away from smacking the tower when an enemy wave comes there way.

Makes striking towers as a melee hero pretty awful, but inversely makes diving enemy heroes as a melee substantially easier: with proper timing towers aren't going to lend any help and you can just destroy someone under their tower.

That said - probably gonna stick with LoL. DotA and DotA2 are solid games regardless of how you look at them, but I still feel LoL has more going for it.
