Volibear doesn't feel like a juggernaut

Edit: When I compare Volibear to any other juggernaut he just doesn't do the same amount of stuff. Darius DrMundo Garen Illaoi Mordekaiser Nasus Olaf Shyvana Trundle Udyr Yorick. I feel I do more damage with all of them, sustain better with all of them, have better sticking potential with all of them, feel more epic/like an actual juggernaut playing all of them. You actually have to envision in your mind the chief of the Ursine running down his enemy with lightning beaming off his fur if you want to feel like a juggernaut cause in game that doesn't happen.

Volibear isn't weak, he has an above average winrate and is a solid pick, thematically though he is really dull.

i think it's cuz he doesn't have any unique niche or reason to actually pick him compared to other juggs

he just sorta runs at you, hits you a while and then bites you. ult looks cool but the on-hit is the only part that matters, the AoE kinda sucks. E is good but doesn't feel that way, etc

honestly i think voli is in a good place.I haven't played him in a month but he has received no changes and i have no issues picking fights or killing with him. Granted i hate his ult as it's usually worthless.So how are you building him? what skills are you leveling first? etc.

He is in a good place if you ask me, he just doesn't feel like a juggernaut at all. I go W>Q>E play him jungle mostly, Cinderhulk>Titanic Hydra or Deadman's -> tank items

So what does a juggernaut "feel" for you like then?

You walk straight up to peoples faces and start hitting them nitty gritty melee style, relying on your tankyness and large hp pool to survive, no need for cute assassin-esque evade moves and such, you take it like a man...bear.

That is the very definition of a Juggernaut.

Riot cannot design champions based on your "feelings", same as my grandmother can't make apple pie that tastes well for every human on the planet...because someone might simply not like apples.

I used to main Voli, and I can say with absolute certainty that he is where he needs to be. He should not have been a "pick-and-win" champion; no champion should.

Jug head or not, he's annoying as hell. Not in a sense where he's OP. He's just annoying to play against.

Honestly when fighting Volibear I actually fear him as a juggernaut more than most because of his bite damage.

I see no reason to fear Volibear more or less than anyone else who has an execute type ability like Darius or Garen in terms of being executed.

Well Volibear's bite is a basic ability. So he can use it more often in a fight than Darius or Garen can use their ult.

Unless it's late game Darius or he keeps killing with his ult. But Volibear is someone I really hate fighting.

He's listed as a juggernaut on league wiki. I assume they get their information from the actual website and stuff so...

He is also immobile. He has just his Q movement speed buff for getting onto people, just like Garen has only his Q, Darius his pull, Mundo the cleavers, Illaoi the small W jump, Morde Rylai's, Nasus Wither, etc.

Honestly i had to cut my reply short now i can type for a sec.With voli you build around def and life his real damage comes from his life pool due to bite. I know how i build cinderhulk(i jungle) swifties,then depending on what i am dealing with i'll pick my defensive pieces. i rarely build anything that has damage if i do it's a final item. if you build like a tank he is a tank. Trust me i went 1v4 against it took them forever to drop me with my build if that is not juggernaut i don't know what is and when i died i took 3 of them with me
