won a game after 2 losses, got 21 lp, won the next 2 after that, only got 19 lp for each?

do shorter duration matches yield less lp or something?

I thought LP gain only lowered after one or more losses or promoted, not a couple wins in a row in the same bracket.

so what critical fact has eluded me?

update: just won another for 4th consecutive win and only got 18 this time.......

bruuuhh, I really don't remember this happening b4 wtf is up right now, this is all over a span of 4 games in silver 3, I've only experienced drops like this from loss streaks, not win streaks

why was I getting 21lp for a win after losing 2 in a row anyway, I was expecting less....

ANNOYED.

I think that games against "worse" team with lower average MMR also gives less LP. This is irrelevant most of the time because LoL has enough players to match teams with almost exactly the same MMR, but it can still happen once in a while.

It's partly related to your rank compared to your MMR and the average MMR at your rank (which moves)......and also related to the expected result of the match. The average rank in my games is either iron 1 or bronze 4 right now and I gain less LP in iron 1 games.

A difference of 2 LP is not something to be concerned over.
