Dear laners, Enough with the Double Standard

Help your fecking jungler when they get invaded...

You cry when they don't drop everything they are doing to babysit you in lane but when your jungler is getting ganked your lazy ass stays in lane with your gaping mouth open while minions jump down your throat..

That is what we call a Double Standard, and it's bad.

I don't understand why people don't come running when you see the enemy jungler in your own jungle. It's basically a free kill.

or maybe you just had shitty team mates. I always help my jungler when he's invaded. Actually, I prefer to invade the enemy jungler myself.

Story Time: I was playing Kha’Zix and they had a Shaco jungle. We had a Vayne ADC, and I started at bot jungle (red side). After Gromp I spotted Shaco and I started pinging bot lane to come and help me. Shaco engages on me, I’m forced to duel, I continue asking for help from bot, about 15 seconds later I’m dead. I ask bot why they didn’t come and help and the Vayne stats blaming me for dying and how it’s my responsibility to deal with invades.

Ive been on all sides of this and i agree, but its important to acknowledge that they cant always help you. If a Lee or Nid comes out of nowhere while youre doing your first red, your lanes arent gonna stop your face getting torn off, especially if they're in the middle of their own fight. Warding and pinging when you notice the invade helps a lot though.

Every laner's mindset should be that they are on their own against their opponent (with the obvious exception of bot, which is a duo). If the jungler wants to lend a hand that's their prerogative; if they want to spend the first 30 minutes farming for Sated Devourer that's also their prerogative.

Also, if you are going to blame me every time you do bad, I'm going to blame me every time you do good :)

Well unfortunately the jungler most vulnerable to invades is also the one least likely to ever gank. MasterYi <3

I love it when I'm playing Shen and someone tries to kill my jungler. I just ult in, get free gold, and go back to lane.

Always assist your friendly neighborhood jungler.....unless he doesn't give any presence in your lane for the first 15 minutes of the game and lets you get ganked 4 times by the other team...then just build up your farm.

Or maybe, you'd get with the times and just surrender that part of the jungle... Every camp is worth the same amount of gold and EXP now, there's no reason not to give one up and go for the next one.

I know that junglers are generally oblivious to what minions do but I'm not gonna abandon my lane just to hold your hand.

So much this, especially since its a free kill for god sakes!

I don't care if I die, if you at least make an attempt, but when I'm getting killed at my damn wolves and you're just going lalalalala in the lane, annoys the hell out of me, especially when the same laner complains about no ganks.

Uhh how about I complain about the lack of any help or collapse onto the invading?

This is a draft pick issue i think, granted someone has to pick first but its not worth sinking a solo lanes exp to come for a potential kill or worse burning ults/sums for an assist where that same jungler stays out of the fight while you 100-10% and he comes in then. I dont know what happens in high elo games but in the average mans elo the junglers afk farm or hover for kills when they see a HUGE skill difference between you and your laner, they only seem interested when it suits their personal interest. They do not want to know if its an even lane or you are at a disadvantage, up against heimer np hes on your tower for 20 mins.

There are too many times have I doubled/tripled my opponents cs and am actively freezing him out of exp what does my jungler do he keeps walking into the lane sapping EXP or just sits in the brush for 3 waves!!!! or shoves the lane forcing a reset and giving him exp again and taking mine lowering my lvl/exp lead over him.

I cannot tell you the last time a jungler has turned a lane round for me I honestly treat my games as i have no jungler and will only come to an invade if im confident/fed enough to kill the invader + anyone else who isnt currently visible on the map by myself and no i wont pick up the kill if it forces me to b early missing more waves.

I think I speak for a lot of other junglers as well, we sure as all hell aren't ganking a heimer, just like you think junglers are potatoes, we think our mid laners are potatoes as well that don't know how to deal with ganking a heimer.

(just a little quipping :p)

Question: If the laner is supposed to not count on ganks because the jungler has other things to do, and the jungle is 100% the junglers and other people have to ask for buffs (even mid with blue and adc with red), then shouldn't the jungler have to deal with their invades on their own?

I'm just asking because I've seen quite a few junglers say that laners should never count on ganks, so why should you count on help if you're invaded?
