I know many people will intentionally ignore most of what they see but Im sure that as more things catch their attention they will end up wanting to pay even more attention to other if not all hot and or recent board posts.
It may not be a T.V. or tablet but its enough to lure poke, I mean summoners from under their rocks.

And there's less salt. EDIT: This was pretty much meant as a joke, no need to take it so seriously. Guess I'll go back to memes and games with my fellows.

shardrunner5 votesI mean that memes and games has way less salt as a whole than gameplay. Because for every post in gameplay that has logic there's ten others that make no sense at all are pure salt. I'm not impllying that memes and games replaces gameplay, just that stratifying the boards to favour one section isn't really fair. The IP bonus should be for being part of a community and participating. Not for listening to we want solo que, plz nerf zed, sona needs nerf, malz needs nerf, Etc. that over half gameplay is.

It also would increase the population of the boards with players who might not have found the boards otherwise. The only change I would make is maybe more than 50 IP, and also an easier way to get to the boards, like an obvious link in the client.

In an entire month you'll be able to afford two extremely cheap champion or one moderately cheap champion. If you're a new player, that's nothing. With a huge amount of the cast having a prices three times that, it's borderline useless for almost every player.
1k might be too high (As pointed out by others) but 50 is absolute chump change.

AnonymousPoro2 votesPerhaps it could get higher with the each consecutive day you view the boards? Like, it starts out at 150 on the first day then grows by 100 IP every day you log on. After a week, it resets and you start off with 150. You'd be able a 6300 IP champion in two weeks.

Skins Project2 votes... one game gets you norms without first win or like any of that ip boost stuff its like 100 ip and thats for a one hour game. So for taking 5 mins of your time and checking 3 boards, you demand 1k ip? plz. I doubt you earn that much in a 2 days. Or even 3.

Maybe 1k for checking once a day for a week or lower it to 100/200 per day. 50, as I pointed out, is far too low. (An entire month of checking the boards = 1500 IP. That's nothing when the game has 130 champs of varying prices)
Thunder Dreamss1 votesA single game gives something like 50 to 200 IP for about 40 minutes investment. Getting 50 IP for five minutes checking the boards is more then enough to make it worth it for new players.

Realistically a daily/casual player is looking at (For a win of the day + this) 250-300 IP or so. Considering runes, rune pages, champions and otherwise, that's insane to say that 50 is enough.

Plus it would make grind for runes a whole lot easier :P I want to change my runes, but even as a level 30, I don`t want to deal with the pain-in-the-ass grind for the IP just to buy, say, 3 runes. Took me probably around 300 games (including bot games) just to get a full rune set up to lvl 30
