Lazypeon1001 votesI'm not saying they do or don't need a nerf. I'm just giving context on why I think they are being nerfed, and my opinion is that it really shouldn't kill these boots off. The value of MS is normally under appreciated, so you will likely see these less often. That doesn't mean they will be a bad choice though.
That's not even counting the amount of slows in the game. I'm just hard pressed to feel worried about them right now, rather take a wait and see approach after the changes.

Lazypeon1002 votesAnd that's fine imo. They are supposed to be a situational buy or strong on specific champions. The value of these boots has gone up over time because so many champions have slows built into their kit.
It also depends on your champion / build path. I don't think they will become dead in the water like they were in the past however. They are still cheaper than merc treads as well.

I'd still like to see zephyrs make a return, or even Soto (highly unlikely) but then again mejias still exists so theirs hope haha

Lazypeon1001 votesEh, most of the items removed were either almost never used due to being unable to fill their intended niche as well as other items, or had abuse cases. Swifties has a clear niche no other item can fill, and it does it well.
SlashStriker2 voteslook guys what i don't like is that boots cost 1200 gold compared to other items that cost 2000 or 3000 gold. Its 1 item slot and it must be efficient. Its just seems that riot is constantly making boots worst.
At 1st remove enchantments now increase the price of swifties. Got Damn it if you dont like boots just remove it or improve it. Its just getting stupid
Yeah ok some boots got minor buff but is very minor compared to other major items like Thornmail which cost over 2000 gold while boots costs 1200 gold at most. Why can't there be 2000 gold boots? OR maybe REMOVE BOOTS? (or maybe don't remove it cause that was kinda stupid)

in case sated devourer 30% attack speed 20 to 50 magic damage on hit (physical damage maybe?) phantom hit: every 3rd attack applies onhit effects 2nd time (for ranged and melee users)
so what is the problem with that ^ suggestion exactly?? They never released that on PBE even

You make it sound like it's going right back in the dumpster. Well it's not.
They didn't nerf the stat's the item gave you, So it's not going to remove it's niche use in the item space. You just need a little extra to get there is all.
