When all his skin has a new basic attack animations, while Lancer Hecarim slash with a Lance. !? Why does Lancer hecarim slash with a Lance? Isn't he suppose to trust with it?

  1. This probably belongs better in Story, Art, & Sound since it involves skins and not actual gameplay.
  2. God Fist Lee Sin is an 1820 skin, and Lancer Zero Hecarim (as a Hextech Exclusive) is built to match a 1350 skin, meaning that it won't get any new animations, just VFX/SFX and looks.
  3. That means it also has nothing to do with Riot "loving Lee Sin too much", it has to do with the price range of the skins.
  4. Yes, you are supposed to thrust with a lance, but that doesn't mean you can't bludgeon people with it. The adornments on Lancer Zero Hecarim's lance make it equally useful as a sledgemace as the pointy head does as a lance.

And, if you somehow still think that's ridiculous that you can (and Hecarim would) use his lance as a sledgemace/bludgeoning tool, or if you find that unrealistic, bear in mind that historically, knights/swordsmen often held their swords by the blade and used the guard and/or pommel as impromptu hammers.

With that in mind, I'd say it's perfectly fine for Hecarim to swing his lance and broadside people with the weighty bit, even if the weapon is designed to be thrust at people.
