It is now literally impossible for anyone in the game besides the support to put down more than 2 wards at a time without completely building out of the way with support items from early game. That kind of disturbs me.
Edit: I'm talking about green wards, not red ones, also I suppose Kleptomancy is a way to get them too although unreliably.
If players really wanted vision that much, they'd invest more into control wards. The higher you climb, the more control wards are bought anyway. In LCS it is very common to just buy 2-3 of them everytime you have the money up after buying what you wanted to buy anyway.

You can use ward trinket and buy control wards at the same time. That's 2 wards.
