Need Janna tips

I'm in low elo, but find her fun and like her new lore. Needs tips on how to play her when my ADC doesn't know how to play, or am I just screwed in that situation?

If your adc is cometely dead weight and dieing repeatedly abandon them and help the rest of the team. Ward up for them and roam mid. If you can't make something happen SOMEWHERE, you're going to be completely useless and ineffective.

I prefer janna to engage supports (eg leona) at low elos, since your kit has all the tools to save your clueless adc when they make mistakes, with if your adc ignores an engage you're probably just dead. Peel like a god until laning phase is over and although your adc will probably still be behind, the enemy won't be fed at least (and at low elo, they probably won't have that much cs anyway, and might actually do stupid things as they get frustrated trying to all in for kills and themselves dieing in the process).

Then once laning phase is done, figure out who else on the team is most capable, and then focus your efforts to peeling for them and keeping them alive. Pretty much everyone is going to have issues trying to 1v5, but 2v5ing is somewhat more realistic if the players involved are good enough.

From one low elo Janna player to another:

Peel, peel, peel. And if your ADC really is worthless and you know you're going to lose lane/have lost lane go roam.

Also, don't be afraid to mute your ADC if they're blaming you for their bad positioning. If they die while you were warding that's on them. If they push up and don't pay attention to the river, that's on them. You can't save them from their own mistakes. Do what you can, but don't be afraid to abandon them and run if they aren't getting out of a bad situation.

Bit of advice I saw on one of Phylol's vids where he was explaining his hate of Janna players: Janna's passive makes people move quicker when they run towards you. Position yourself accordingly. If your ADC is playing safe, move up in the lane bushes so they get speed. If they're pushed up to tower, sit a bit behind them so they can run away faster. It's a very useful passive, but not if you're hanging out behind your ADC while they're farming in mid lane.

When the opponent does something dumb, Janna is one of the best champions to punish that. You can easily peel a stupid engagement by someone on their team and let your team kill them. Use your tools to counter their idiocy in low elo. In higher elo Janna is more seen a tilt machine, that just runs around tilting the enemy because of how aids her peel is. Pretty much just peel well and you will do well.
