Darius = Free Lane (plz help)
Someone please help me understand how or what champion I can pick that can even stand in lane with Darius. How am I suppose to even survive a lane with a Dorans blade, Fevor, Ignite
Darius? The odds are so stacked in his favor he doesnt even have to play well. Then come "oh kite him later on" but that doesn't help in lane when he has pull and two >60% slows. Looking at Yorick, a healthy juggernaut kit, he has clear periods Qwhere he has lots damage and periods where he has nearly none. Darius has no counterplay from that perspective. When I look through my champ pool and normal top lane champs there is no one that will ever be able to fight him at any stage of the game. I am getting tired of getting flamed because the deck is stacked in his favor from the get-go. He has no pressure to avoid mistakes.
Someone please help me understand what I am suppose to do? Dodge his q is the only tactic I can find but it doesn't matter because it's up again in 3-5 seconds. Just think his lane bully mentality is a little too easy to execute.
He out ranges him his e in hammer form knocks him back after the pull he can easily farm and harass from a safe distance and if he's dumb enough to take ignite instead of tp when he backs use your w to take first tower.
into him and farm with Q. Eventually I get so tanky that he can never kill me. The trick against Darius is to not lose to him early game. If you can do that, not give him any free kills, you'll be more useful than him later on.
, start W, disengage whenever he tries to engage with it, and stack your fury. once you hit lvl 3, only try to fight him if your fury is above 50%, then constantly trade in short bursts. e-q-w-e or e-w-q-e combos (or w-q-e-e if you catch him out in melee range).
