should be added back into the game... as a upgrade to the regular. because sometimes you don't always need grievous wounds. and sometimes you don't always need increased damage to greater health targets. especially for those tanks that stack armor sometimes you just need the % ignored of everything and nothing else . an example... you are riven against nasus top. nasus rushes FH heart ... you would barely touch him if you didn't get the lead before. same for malphite. its an automatic lose lane when that happens...god forbid rammus top. please hear me out and post your opinions before down voting

If anything, armor pen is already too strong. Old last whisper was weaker than the current upgraded ones in most situations anyway.

Also, rushing armor without hp is bad, even against champs like Riven who only do physical damage, because pure armor isn't enough to fight in the early game unless the other player is playing poorly; it's just for surviving.

If you don't get the early lead as Riven, you're going to have a rough time. She's a snowball champ; that's how it's supposed to be, and always has been. Her scaling with AD is nuts, so her late game is going to be good regardless, but her mid game when she's behind or even won't be great.

Presumably they aren't killing you either when they go for that armor rush, so you can just clear the waves and then roam. You're riven, you have crazy mobility and good burst. They don't.

Complaining about not being able to kill someone who specifically builds to deal with you in lane is silly.

thank you for you're explanation. athough i don't play riven when i do play aatrox , or talon last season before the changes i rushed last whisper because on aatrox it made my BOTRK relevant against tanks and even deadlier on squishies but i understand what you mean . ill just have to build something else for a similar effect
