Ignite works better on champs who can actually afford to get close. (namely Assassins)

I usually like heal when I play ADC, and not just for the Heal, The slight MS buff as been the difference between a kill and an escaped target.

I had a Cait take Ignite, and she was kinda.. Bad. Like, it was painful. I ended up going Exhaust/Heal and going Hyper carry APC because my Cait was extremely skittish.

If you have a support with no heal, there is ZERO reason to take ignite over heal. You are a ranged champion. You shouldn't be close enough to use ignite anyway.

Yes, the enemy may get away, but you have forced them to back and you get free farm and a lead that will allow you to get the kill next engagement.

because ADCs don't like it when their free gold gets away XD

I don't touch the kills. I poke down, slow, walk away and let the ADC get it, but when the other ADC had 5% health (One Q) Cait would run off. We had it warded, JG was in top lane, so we were safe to secure kill (Flash down, and we're in the middle of lane..)

unless they were out of mana, that's a very bad caitlynn but not relative to the "why u pick ignite" XD it's a satisfying spell early game because people aren't aware how much dots hurt, for instance, malzahar with full AP can do ignite + his E for up to 435 true damage (though they would likely be level 18 by full ap), then over 800 in magic damage for up to 1200 damage over time, that's 50% of most carries

She was sitting at 50 - 75% mana all game. It was no biggie, we still won. But it's like, mind boggling, because heal, to me, seems more life saving than ignite Shrug
