If your own team bans your preselected champion you shouldn't lose LP for dodging.

This way we could avoid being punished for saving the time and LP of our teammates.

LP loss for dodging is a nice way of punishing people who'd only start games with favourable teamcomps but dodging a game because somebody is full on trolling from the start isn't the same thing. Let's not fuck the guys that actually dodge trolls.

Not that I agree with people trolling, but I fully understand someone being pissed if a teammate bans their hover. Even when I hated Yasuo and banned him consistently, I would never ban him when a teammate was hovering it.

I have rarely experienced that and I don't think this is a good idea because a premade 5 man team or duo queue could abuse this to dodge game and it will most likely create chaos in a ranked queue with people dodging around. now the best way to counter this problem is to have a larger pool of champions that you can play with about 8 is good. 4 champs for your main role and the other 4 champs for other roles that the game might autofill you

It's -3LP. The only way this would noticeably hurt you is if a) you're at 79-82 LP and losing that 3 LP means you need 2 wins instead of 1 for your promos, or if you dodge all the time.

If someone bans your champ, just play another one. Or, just don't declare until after ban phase. The -3LP is for the inconvenience of the other players.

This seems unnecessary especially given how some champions are banned frequently meaning you could select them and just freely dodge when you don't like your team.
