Armor nerfs and all the various changes to make lane bullies OP have put Nasus in the doghouse.

Can he get some actual buffs now?

It really isn't.

you suck.

Ah, yes. The highest form of rebuttal.

So was your weightless argument saying trinity + steraks is bad. You gave no evidence to say why it isn't good. Clearly a guy not looking for any form of discussion but rather crying about he sucks with a specific champion and thus wants buffs to make up for your lack of ability to play that champion.

Hense, you suck.

It's probably the strongest offensive item combo for Nasus

Entirely true. However, you're never going to get Sterak's on Nasus before at least the third item. And since Sterak's build path and combine cost are...unwieldy to say the least, it can often fall in priority compared to the movement speed or other defensive items that Nasus needs.

Whenever I've played Nasus (and it was a couple seasons ago, so take it with a grain of salt), the build generally went Defensive primer (Warden's or Chain Vest, usually) > Basic Boots > Fully-built offensive item (Sheen into Trinity usually worked best) > Complete defensive build and boots at your leisure.

Sterak's is a 3rd/4th slot item, sure, but the point where Nasus is free to build as he chooses is usually >5k gold. Unless he's being starved, that happens pretty quickly.

Pretty much every Nasus I know of rushes Frozen Heart. (Which is why the way it was absolutely destroyed hurts Nasus, btw) And thence to sheen, trinity, and who knows what else. That's two items that don't exactly have a small cost. Then he needs boots, and probably a magic resist item to deal with whatever else is going to come and try to fuck him up.

And that's ignoring the fact that the main usage case of Sterak's (not getting blown up in teamfights) is not exactly useful for somebody as terrible in teamfights as Nasus is.

It's defense-inefficient to rush Frozen Heart as a first item. Resistances scale far better when you have some health. That's why my build generally grabs a bit of Armor, then focuses on offense if I don't need to buy Health to go with it.

Also, Frozen Heart lost 10 Armor and costs a bit more. Maybe that's another reason why it shouldn't be rushed as a first item.

It's Nasus-efficient to rush FH as a first item because it straight up gives 20% CDR, and the flat resistances synergize with his lifesteal and bonus health from his ult.
