JS... ADC's already have too much variety. This could give chanpions like Diana, Ekko and Kennen a proper item to build. Maybe make it melee only to prevent mages from abusing it. It also finally gives AP items variety like we've been asking for.
If not, can Essence Reaver at least be a hybrid item and give both AD and AP? I dont see that many ADCs building the new Ess Reaver anyway.

I get AP items suck but don't take an item away from a class, just give ideas to introduce a new one for a different group.

I tried using Essence Reaver with Ashe don't really work well. The thing that you wanted to happen to the Ess Reav works like the previous Morello.

Not really that true, they won’t have IE until usually their second or third item. And Incase you are wondering conquer on a ranged champ is not that good, with IE a ranged champ would only get 40% of their damage as true damage every 4-5 seconds, and it only lasts for 3 seconds. So there is some “downtime” between the conquer mark stacking for you to all in and hopefully kill them.

i'd be finishing runaans or shiv first like i always do then finishing IE and have probably 40-60% crit when i'd usually have 50% at that point, not gonna bother me any, then one more item and i'm maxed at 100% dont even need to go essence to reach 100% crit anymore, can build botrk or bt and LW every time now without losing any stats this is a buff for the adcs i play
