Why isn't there a vote kick or report option in champion select?

If someone is really bad, toxic, or threatening to troll we should either be able to vote kick them (0 LP penalty but an increasing timer penalty) or be able to report them. Why hasn't this happened yet? It's not even a bad idea.

Some people want to win more than others... Might as well give us more control especially when people get auto filled very easily.

Because let's say I'm in a team full of squish and you're the last pick top lane "pick a tank" I tell you but you don't know any so you do not. I therefore initiate a kick vote and the rest of my team agrees considering there's a high chance of us losing LP from our ranked game with how awful our team comp is. You did absolutely nothing wrong but you get punished anyways.

That's just one of the many many MANY ways this would be abused.

Because you can dodge.

None of you have talked about the toxic part yet. What if someone was bashing you in champ select for what champ you chose? You can't report them, and probably would have to choose between playing with someone who just verbally harassed you, or dodge and lose lp as well as gain a timer, which doesnt make sense because you are the one getting punished when they were the ones being toxic. There can and should be a button for reporting people, regarding toxicity. I won't say whether kicking someone from the lobby is a good or bad option, but I will say that reporting players for toxicity in champ select, before going into a game, could be a viable option. I do see how this can be abused to threaten people to pick meta champs, but Riot can check the logs just like how they check in game logs before they punish. If you report someone in champ select, riot can let you dodge without penalty, but give you a penalty if they find out you reported someone just to dodge. I don't know how the system will or can work, but one way or another, report for verbal abuse in champ select is a topic Riot needs to consider.

We had one. It was called Team Builder and it was the best thing this miserable game ever did. But people say it's fine that we don't have it any more because they only care about what's immediately in front of them.
