I've mained Diana since S6 and I have over 600k on her on my account collectively. My friend who joined the game 6 months ago (who also mains Diana) managed to get to gold 5 with Diana only. He has 300 games on Diana and his next most played champion is at 30 games.

It really is a shame. I feel like I'm mechanically good & I have the game knowledge of a gold player, but once the enemy has a fed bruiser such as Nasus, Garen, Illaoi, we can't win teamfights at all because of how much dmg and tank stats they have.

Idk what I intended to say with this post, but yeah.

Five years, still unranked. Played 5 games with a team (They randomly made me their top even though I'm a support player, mainly Shen with one Swain game), and two solo queue games - one was Twisted Treeline as Orianna with a Shaco and Tryndamere and we got destroyed, another was Swain top against Renekton where he spammed all chat saying I was hacking because he had no idea how Swain worked only for their Yi to get fed bot and do Yi things.

I stay away from ranked, it's not a nice thing :P

Play the map better. Thats typically what holds back silver mid laners is they're tunneled on their lanes when they need to be making things happen early to carry games. Very little about mid lane is about being able to 1v1 your laner anymore.

You might need to work on your macro. Learn how to push an advantage if you get one. You getting ahead in lane is worthless unless you abuse your lead to make plays and help your other lanes. A fed Diana is VERY scary to a squishy bot lane. Also ensure that if you can't make a play in another lane, that you don't let your opponent farm. Push them under tower, harass them, make them back as much as possible and do NOT forget to ward in case of the jungler.
