How is skarner win% so high?

My guess is that, once again, the community has no idea what its talking about when it complains about how weak champion reworks will be. See: Or just in general we don't know how strong a champion will be on release. See: We hit the nail on the head a few times with and arguably , but as a rule, don't jump on the bandwagon for hating reworks and new champs after looking at their kit. We have NO IDEA what we;re talking about.

People thought his crystal placement meant he gets NO play

People were wrong.

People also tend to ignore the fact that when Skarner CCs an enemy, he gets his crystal doom power. As well as the fact that Titanic and Devourer scale ridiculously well together on him. He gets more ability damage, aa damage, aoe damage, and he gets hp too. Now once devourer and tank items are added, when he has his passive up he's a utter nightmare for squishy anything.

From the start, I kinda expected that Skarner would have god-mode spires of doom. I was pretty surprised when he was so strong after people were claiming to have played him on PBE with him being weak.

So much for Skarner being weak. But then again, people thought new Garen, Darius and Morde would be trash..

Morde especially, was getting "Rito wrecked a perf champ again" treatment until somebody QQ'd over getting Q'd

Did you know that the crystals make him have Master Yi levels of attack speed while building full tank?

I heard that Skarner players in PBE were maxing Q first and therefore didn't do so well.

Skarners on live decided to max E first and that actually meant Skarner was OP. Other people caught on and now Skarner's full potential has been revealed with something like 64% win rate.
