Length of a League Games

Lately, League games have been lasting 30-45 minutes and I'm pretty happy with that game length. There has been some concern about snowballing though, with some saying it is the cause of the shorter game lengths. I wonder, do we want longer games, or do we simply want to feel like losses come from mistakes? When games lasted around 45-60 min on average, I didn't feel any greater sense of agency. It was just harder to find a way to end the game when you had a lead. (Unless you were Riven. shudders) Now there are much clearer avenues by which to end the game. (Baron buffed minions, elder dragon, etc.)

I'm all for feeling like there are more meaningful ways to react to losing situations, but I don't want league games to last 15 minutes longer than they do now. It's hard enough to fit into your day when you're busy with work, school, resumes, etc.

i think the nexus turrets are far too easy to kill or the inhibitor ones, one of the two should get a slight buff, basically to allow come-backs a little more.

league games are decided now at 15 minutes

It definitely feels that way some times. I'd say 1 in 3 games has that unstoppable snowball feel. It's hard to figure out how to alleviate that other than "make everything harder to take. They can suffer at 30 min instead of 15."

its not about farming anymore to get items it about getting kills to push your enemy out of lane to get that first blood tower early then go to another lane and snow ball so they cant farm and take there tower also then get drake then push to win and thats game at 20minutes

I mean, to be honest the game being about engaging in fights and rotating lanes instead of farming for 15 minutes sounds like a good thing to me.

I certainly do find myself in more lanes at 15-20 min than I used to regardless of which side of the victory I'm on.

Now, I can agree that if the process of taking first tower and rotating lanes is unpreventable, that's a problem. I wonder though if a different approach is needed now based around rotating lanes more often to meet enemies where they try to push their advantage. For example, if I lose mid tower and the enemy Ziggs roams bottom, it's my responsibility to follow him and bolster their wave clear until he is forced to go back mid.
