Can you please not splitpush if you're behind?

If you're behind and repeatedly shoving lane to the enemy tower, you're not doing anything productive. In the absolute best case scenario, you're giving the enemy laner free cs, and in the worst case you get so behind that the enemy top can freely roam and just pop top every once in a while to stop you from taking inner and kill you for free.

Regardless what champion you're playing, the whole point of splitpushing is to force the enemy team to have uneven fights because they have to send multiple people to you or lose objectives, while the rest of your team pushes a single lane. If you are not capable of drawing that much attention as a splitpusher, then either freeze lane and try to farm or group.

It's a double edged sword... What do you want me to do? Teamfight and be super useless in that sense? Or shove lane roam to another and repeat? At least that way I'm getting farm.. idk it just feels a lot like a damned if I do, damned if I don't situation.

Just freeze lane. It isn't particularly hard to only last hit minions, even if you are for some reason playing someone ability dependent as a splitpusher. Even if you can't freeze for some reason (maybe you rushed static before you realized how far behind you were as tryndamere or something), it's always entirely possible to push out your lane then take one of the side jungle camps or scuttle. And no matter how useless you are in teamfights it's surely better than just allowing the enemy team to fight as five if you don't have enough damage to push to tower and take it during a fight.
