Here is an interesting way to nerf Solari and Redemption in the RIGHT WAY

Make their stats go from HP and armor/magic resist to PURE OBNOXIOUS REGEN. Think warmogs gives a lot of regen? These will make warmogs look weak.

Now I know you might be asking yourself, "how does this change anything?"

Well first, on the positive side, it gives supports who buy them insane sustain to keep casting them spells and healing in prolonged fights.

But in the SHORT TERM, they can be focused and killed relatively quickly.

How does this change the mechanics involved?

People might tell you X is too powerful of a shield or Y is too good an AOE heal, but the reality is the fact you cant kill the support who has so much blatant tank stats added to their kit AS A BONUS on top of having + shield and heals from items and masteries.

Imagine if mages could build 2 purely tank items and their passives would equal 30% more damage straight up.

I have no problem with healers with strong heals if the healer is squishy miggee. I have a big problem when a healer has full tilt sustain while also being harder to kill then Uther Lightbringer.

would still love to fight her with ungodly sustain then a bonus 500+ hp and 70 armor/magic resist

If I go through the hell to catch soraka, she better be able to die.

What they should do is reduce the health on Redemption to 250 (from 400), and make the extra healing and shielding power 15% (from 10%), so that it becomes a bit more niche and fulfills the purpose of being an item for squishy healers.

As for Locket, the shield should only be usable on one champion in addition to yourself, similar to Face of the Mountain, so that you actually have to decide who to shield (it will still be used on the ADC most of the time anyway, though) instead of shielding an entire team. Number adjustments to keep the item at a similar efficiency may be needed.
