Luden's Echo gets 10% Movement speed...

But Trinity can't even get half of the Movement speed it had in season 2....

Can that part of the preseaosn nerf get reverted at least? Have it be 8% again?

why're we comparing two different items for different role's stats thats like saying "IE gets more AD than hextech. BUFF HEXTECH GUNBLADE"

Remember when the only AP movement speed item a mage could get was Lich bane?

They actually had more then 1 build path to 40% CDR back then and they seemed to actually be fairly happy with their item options back then.

a Mage is basucally forced into Luden's Echo as one of their first 3 items because there is nothing else worth getting for most of them.

CDR is besides the point and is in a bad spot.

Giving ludensmovespeed is very dangerous, and difficult to balance properly when they have the option of going in and out of battle quickly without reducing their damage output. If burst casters are able to reach the same move-speed levels as melee champions without sacrificing much of their power, it would become far to easy to simply kite every enemy you pass. And, if mage movespeed is allowed to get higher than dps champions, they would effectively be able to kite even ranged dps (Caitlyn, Corki and the like) because if they swiftly run in and out of range in rhythm with their cooldowns then their damage output remains the same while their opponent goes through long periods of being unable to retaliate.

besides that, sorc shoes for mages was all the mobility they needed. If the mage was in a position where he needs movement speed to escape a tank or an adc, he is positioning wrong

SO in a way you are taking a different approach to theissues I face with the current Luden's Echo. While not a said part of the issue that a mage gets so much mobility options now without having to give up on much of anything.

Ever tried to catch an Ahri after using Q and then running away with that movement speed boost and Luden's Echo. It is not likely to happen currently.

I feel like Luden's Echo would be better balanced building from Aether wisp + Findish Codex + Amp tome = Luden's Echo 3000 5% movement speed 10% CDR 90 AP UNIQUE passive - Echo: still the same as it currently is.

NLR would still build into 4 items if this were to happen.

I think you're forgetting about the Rage Passive from item 3044 which gives 20 movement speed and 60 movement speed upon auto attacks and kills respectively. It may not add up to the same amount of movement speed that Luden's provides, but Trinity Force also gives a lot more utility in other stats.

I am not forgetting. The rage passive was added to replace the on hit slow chance that Phage had when it built into frozen Mallet. Trinity still had 8% MS after the rage passive replaced the slow chance.

Okay, but Trinity Force still has health, mana, CDR, attack damage, critical strike chance, attack speed, and a sheen passive.

I think Trinity Force is fine as it is, although I am a little upset that it is no longer a hybrid item. We only have 2 items that give both AD and AP still.

It is still the most expensive item in the game tied with deathcap

trinity force is uselss except on corki and gp now. you can do better. and that is IBG. why? well. it doesn't give 30% as anymore. less ad. less hp. and no ap at all. junk item. too expensive. I don't even get it on nasus anymore. or jax. I just rush ibg on nasus

One step at a time.

Would actually rather have the crit chance replaced with on hit match damage.
