Champion reworks: lack of respect for people's time and money

Does anyone like the new Fiora?

Perhaps you do, perhaps you don't. If you hate the old Fiora, you just might like the new one. But players of old Fiora are given no choice. Riot takes their champion away, which they invested lots of time and possibly real money into, and gives them an entirely new champion based entirely around a mechanic that wasn't in the game yet. She went from a strategic pick to a heavily twitch micro based character. Even her loading screen is different and her ass is smaller (very important for many Fiora owners).

Perhaps the new design is better than the old. The point is, you don't dump on people's investment into a character just because YOU think you know better what they will like and they can't refund them anyway. (You could refund Karthus skins after his VU, so many people did that they removed the option.) If they wanted Fiora to be based on random harrier marks, they should have done so from the beginning.

Disclaimer: I don't even own Fiora. But I own other champions and after Riot gets done turning Fiora into some sort of positional healer, they just might decide to turn Kayle into a tank or Nocturne into a mid laner. Because they're game designers, and game designers gotta design, otherwise they're out of a job (see also: new HUD, lore retcon).

riot prioritizes game quality over a handfull of players who got atached to content

you are unhappy because you are the one on the lower priority list ... but in the end reworks are a positive thing

also riot doesnt rework champions to make them more enjoyable ... thats what they do with new champions .... riot reworks just to improve the quality of their product

Upgrade champions. People rage. Downgrade unbalanced kits. People rage.

A hasty response from Riot to silly community doesn't really help either.
