800+ Nasus stacks and still struggling through the avalanche of CC.

Hexs Fortune··4 votes·465 views

Here was my Build item 3078 item 3800 item 3053 item 3512 item 3111 item 3083

My lane opponent was able to roam and get fed off kills, while I was stuck farming in lane and pinging missing.

Late game wheres the payoff? Still getting cc'd or bursted in teamfights. Still no way to disengage when drawing 2 or 3 top. Still unable to quickly kill an enemy bruiser top before his team comes to dump cc on me.

Tell me what i'm doing wrong here

well that is how you beat nasus you gangbang him while ccing him and kite him til he dies

the enemy played well...

if you are facing multiple forms of hard cc mercs simply might not be enough... item 3140

you kidding?

what are even half of these comments towards his item build? there is nothing wrong with it.

glory gives armor, some mr from mercs, extra resistances from zz rot. not to mention his ult gives him a bunch of resistances, so health stacking makes a lot of sense.

steraks synergizes with all the health he built, and amplifies his sheen procs.

i dont think rot is really good anymore, but if you need mixed resistances on a splitpushing champion, its still decent enough.

NO, NOT kidding. You Nasus has built in life steal, you want to maximize it w/ Visage Merc Treads for tenacity. Omen to reduce crit damage and slow the enemy. Deadman's to boost movement and damage. Warmongers to quickly heal up after trades. Would sub in helm against a singed, teemo, ect...

item builds need to be situational depending on enemy teamcomp.

when youre faced with a teamcomp you cant deal with in large 5v5's you dont itemize for fighting enemy champions in groups. you itemize to get picks and to split push, which his build does.

glory is an underestimated item on a lot of bruisers. its basically a replacement for summoner 6 with health, cdr and armor.

there is currently a midlane garen main in his d1 promos on na who builds righteous glory on garen almost every game. it helps making plays on enemy stragglers to chase them down and take them out quickly.

Nasus is meant to be locked down by CC, he's not meant for team fights

You are not doing anything wrong is just your teammates feeding, if they kept their defense passive/get objectives safely then you would of been oneshotting.

Go to the defensive mastery tree for more tenacity. 800 stacks? You should have finished the game with 300 stacks, so push and get baron, then hit towers with your stacks midgame before the enemy gets penetration items. Nasus is not a lategame champion, because you will get destroyed by ranged champions and their supports. Or you have to backdoor. Playing Nasus in teamfights is almost impossible.

people get this notion cuz his Q stacks for the entire game.. that he is a late game champ... whats funny if you look at win rate by game length the longer the game goes the worst it gets. its best @ 25 mins.

300 stacks is like 20 minutes lol

First, your build is absolute garbage. Second, why do you think you should be able to win a 1v3 or 1v4?

Critmaster Garen1 votes

op, i think your job is to splitpush. especially with that build.

if youre placing your rot and ult for turrets, youre probably going to take them down in the matter of seconds.

around lategame its important to splitpush bot lane to force a lot of attention towards you. the enemy team wont be able to handle you by just sending a single person to stop you.

with 800 stacks even 2 people wouldnt be enough. as soon as you see enemies walking over to the bot side of the map, your team should immediately contest and start baron.

The built feels wrong to me, unless you were laneing/splitpushing vs a ranged champ.

Steraks sadly is overall in a rather weak spot, same with zz'rot, and Zz'rot is a splitpush item that mostly helps your tower dps. Nasus one big strength is his tower dps, so he doesn't really need extra help with that. Glory is a teamfight item, you use it to get into the fight, it's rather usless in a splitpush(unless you face an ranged opponent that else clears waves from save distance), so useing that alongside Zz'rot is wierd, either you want teamfights so why Zz'rot, or you want splitpush, so why glory? If you want the splitpush, replace glory with Deadmens(actually really helpfull for getting away from a collaps), Consider banner over zz'rot, it can actually afk push, and it tanks towers so you can use your dps, and it's cheaper, consider Mercurial, the extera Lifesteal helps in the 1v1, the QSS active can help with your cc issue and the other stats are atleast decently usefull, not sure if Warmongs is needed, usually your passive+Q is quite high sustain, thoguh i can see why you would want it, not much other options for raw health. Once you get ~500+ stacks, consider getting titanic hydra, cause at that point it's more important to shove a wave onto a tower and smash it than to further stack up your Q. And get stoneplate unless you really have issues in the 1v1. That item is busted and it's mandatory if you want to survive in teamifghts, and it also helps alot when 3 man collpas onto you. Also, i asume you run flash like 99% of all players. Imo Ghost is far better on nasus, it pairs really well with his ult, allowing you to stick to your opponent for the full duration and abuseing the low cd Q, it also has lower cd than flash, so tradeing summoners is fine, and it give better chances at running away from a collaps if you survive the initial burst or spot them early enough on a ward.

Also, if you are splitpushing, either ward that side of the jungle, or play very carefully and allways check the map for missing opponents. If you only see 2 members on the map, chances are high that the over 3 plan to rape you. But mostly, play save till the rest of your team applies some preassure somewhere else, so your opponents would loose something on the other side of the map if they send to many people to stop you. If needed, tell your team to group and preassure a lane or dance around dragon/baron, though it is difficult to get that right in soloQ, often enough they would over do it and fight 4vs5 and loose horrible rather than avoiding fights while still staying close enough to punish your opponents should they send 2+ to stop the splitpush.
