Is it safe to try Aurelion Sol now?

^ Still haven't had a chance to play him yet, he's either picked or banned so far (to be expected). This is why I really detest the new champ select, when I play normals it's usually to practice a particular champ, so if I can't play that champ I no longer wish to play.

Edit: I'm not a brat I promise lol

I use to go in blind pick to play him and surprisingly it's not really instalocked and many times there's not another Aurelion on the enemy team so I believe Blind Pick is a safe mode to go and try him.

I believe he best fits jungle and midlane.

I think I'll try that, hopefully I get him this time xD

Absolutely do not play him into any form of assassin if you are playing draft. He has probably one of the most glaring weaknesses of any champion in the game. Any form of gap close will effectively nullify his damage and even avoid his q. Just sit under him and you are safe.

I just faced a Leblanc with him, had to play super defensively after level 2 but managed to go quite even still ^^

I thought his most glaring weakness was the fact that he cannot hide in bushes. His stars give him away and it makes team stacking for something like a Baron bluff really difficult.

That is probably the most literal sense of 'glaring' weakness, but alas I was referring to sitting on his head :)
