Elo decay?

There is LP decay for plat and above, the frequency that it decays depends on just how high you are.

Your ELO/MMR itself doesn't actually decay though, so while one can drop down to gold 1 due to inactivity even if they were challenger, they'd still be matched with challenger players and get massive amounts of LP for their wins so climbing back would be relatively easy.
