I don't like the Voice Chat Idea being something for league, UNLESS

I don't like the idea because lets face it, you WILL encounter the worst of the worst in terms of personality. What I mean by that is people who can be obnoxious, racist, and disgusting. Some of you would know what's it like to play a game with voice chat such as games like CoD. It's toxic.

I played a game called Combat Arms online in PC and they removed the voice chat due to racism and harassment. The women would mostly get harassed and judged and the men would get "roasted" and trash talked.

Now the UNLESS part: If Riot had the feature where you can choose who you want to mute individuality like how you can mute people from chat. I think that would be fine but when I think about it, league has so much mute options that it just gives you a sign of how bad the community is. I mean we are at the point where pings can be muted. It will end up being 3 mute options, what's gonna be the 4th? Muting the existence of your ally from the map?

I actually do wanna vocally communicate with my team to win games but I also don't want to encounter those bad people every game.

I was just viciously attacked by a guy in voice chat in Rocket League because I blew him up once. Like LoL insta-permaban type stuff. I think built-in voice chat is a really bad idea.

One problem: Being able to opt out of it in theory doesn't mean you actually could. If voice chat was in League officially, it would inherently give a team with it advantage over one without. Therefore, you would be flamed for not having it. A classic "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario.

if you have to opt into voice chat I don't see the issue.
