This is what competiton does to this game. Players are subjected to two full years of horrible levels of blatant cheating before Riot even answers them publicly, and the situation is so bad that Riot has to ban tens of thousands of accounts in TWO MONTHS.

That's the most competitive server in the world. That's what happens when every player treats this game like a sport. So take your badges of shame and be happy you aren't dealing with a scripter every single match.

I don't know what the SoloQQ'ers mean, but for me, I take it as "your position on the ladder accurately reflects your skills compared to the people above and below yourself". It means the competition is preserved and it remains whole, with a notion of honesty and fairness added on top.

Riot was more than likely finding a way through legal issues before they could lay those bans down. They knew about it and told us that they knew about it and were working on it.

That's not my entire point though. I'm saying that when players take the game seriously and play to win every game every day like they do in Korea they feel pressured to cheat. Same as in real sports with performance enhancing drugs or deflated balls.

I took it the opposite way. When blatant cheaters are not punished promptly the hard workers cannot climb nearly as easily and eventually most succumb to cheating as well. I think the ban wave will only make Korea more competitive and stronger.

"Some cheaters".

55k accounts banned in one year.

That's like one scripter per two games you play. I literally wouldn't play the game at all if that was the case.
