According to riot Draven is not broken? hmm lets see

1995 2017RiP Eva·6/8/2017, 9:38:44 AM·2 votes·1,029 views

BONUS PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 (+ 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 105% bonus AD) BONUS PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 (+ 20% AD)

One is a MELEE Range champion that deals 75+20% bonus AD

The other is Range champion that deals 50 +105% bonus AD

But whait there is more the 50+105% can crit for the FULL DAMAGE while the 75+20% can only crit for the first damage not for the bonus damage

But wait there is more draven can have 2 AXES which mean 100 +210% bonus AD and if he catch them it has no COOLDOWN

The other guy have cooldown...

"BUT YOU TALKING about a champion that can use the 75+20 3 times"

well lets do the math

it would be 75+20% x3=225+60% (With CD) vs 100 +210% (With no CD plus i dont put I.E on the numbers and ofcourse dont forget this damage comes from 550 range not 125...) as you can see is not even close...

And somehow some people try to justify that...

So my Question is when Draven is gonna get the balance nerf he deserve? or we gonna pretend that he have a high skill lvl ? if you learn how to catch axes (30 minutes in practice tool) its pretty much over...

Just saying that compareing a single ability of 2 different champions is stupid otherwise i can show you that all champs in league deserve nerfs according to this logic. That said there many differences between Xin Zhao and Draven, Xin Zhao Q has a lower damage but

  1. Has a knock up in it
  2. Lower CD
  3. Reduces CD of his other spells
  4. It's an auto attack reset
  5. Requires no skill wether if Draven does not catch his axes you can take all that damage away
  6. Thanks to his passive Xin has a guaranteed critical strike
  7. Xin also has 15% armor pen in his kit which make things hurt more

Draven is good and he might get nerfs but not because his Q has a higher scaling than xin lul.

Only reason he is very strong atm is Death's Dance. Ever since the build came out Draven came into meta cause how easy it was to use this build. The thing Riot should do is nerf or revert the Death's Dance changes.

Draven is pretty broken in lane, but after that, he kinda feels... meh... Since he has to catch his axes, his movements are very predictable... If he doesnt catch them... well, he can be ignored...

People don't know that Executioner's Calling is pretty good against Death's Dance. If more people would build it, DD would be less oppressive.

Literally just target him with spells when he goes to catch an axe force him to drop it Its not hard to counter him People just allow him to snowball then complain that he's broken

What the hell are you even talking about lmao

Can't take this seriously because you messed up in the very first explanation. The skill is 20% AD not BONUS AD so that skill is already modifying the auto attack to 120% of normal damage, 100% for normal plus the 20% from the skill, on top of adding a base, making it far stronger than you want to give credit.

But whait there is more the 50+105% can crit for the FULL DAMAGE

Nah

Very very few basic attacks can fully crit, and Draven's is not one of them. The only damage that will be increased by critting is the regular auto-attack part.

he can actually have 3 axes at once its pretty hard tho

DarkRitual6/8/2017, 10:26:22 AM1 votes

Technically he can have 3 axes going. However his catching and the bounce time are effectively the cooldown.

Draven is very strong. However he's also very risky. Really high high points, but really low low points if he doesn't get ahead. He could likely use a little bit of a nerf, but he's built to be very strong when he is able to snowball.
