Why are

so heavily banned?
All of them have win rates within 1% of 50% so it isn't like they are going to guarantee a loss if the other team picks them. I mean the boards is always going on about win rate yet the most heavily banned champs in the game have an acceptable win rate.

It's a coin toss as to whether or not your Yi is going to carry you team, or get 1 shot and dies whenever he ganks. There is very little middle ground, and people do not want to gamble like that.

The point is the forums whine about wanting to be able to carry 4 people. Yi is one of those champions right now, especially since most people are around bronze/silver. Your statement meant nothing.

Yeah but he needs to be garbage in the wrong hands if they are gonna keep him like that. Which is why he needs a different kit if he wants to be truly balanced...
Or a team of developers that actually care about fixing their bugs instead of saying "Oh that was intentionally put into the game. Yeah, that non-canceling snare or stun at the last second during a ability that can move you."
Baron Barian2 votesYi and Irellia are both strong late game champs, but they can also snowball into lategame, particularly Yi. If you're not confident that you and your team can either shut them down or not feed them at all, then letting them in the game can cost you the game,
Darius has always been a strong early game champion against melee, though I've noticed he's been played a lot in pro games lately, with a lot of people giving him Tons of Damage instead of the usual Black Clever. I want to call him a noob killer, but he has been pretty strong right now. I've seen even Faker playing him recently.
Yasuo and Zed are straight up noob killers. They do have a high skill ceiling and can be smart picks at all ranks of play, but generally in lower tier games and blind picks, they'll get banned because it's easier than actually learning how to fight them since they have good pokes and strong all-ins. I myself have long since learned how to shit all over Yasuo, but I will admit that I do still ban Zed sometimes just because he does hurt a lot of mid-lane mages anyway.

The rest are just champs that while good in the right hands and trash in inexperienced hands there things people dont wanna deal with. Zed has his super easy ult. Yas is mobile as all hell. Yi has his either you counterpicked or will lose q. And noone likes laning against juggs.

Irelia i dont even need to explain what is wrong with her. yi i also dont need to explain Darius dumpsters every melee top lane Zed rekts alot of mid laners and also super safe and annoying doesnt have to be ahead to 100-0 a squishy. Yasuo also dont need to explain, windwall 100% crit chance bull shit game winning ult when paired with any other knock ups.
