This comment that Riot Maple made about Yasuo's buff

"Yasuo lost a fair bit of his power as we headed into the pre-season, and then got brought down further with Press The Attack nerfs last patch. Leaving him at 44-45% winrate feels quite awful for a champion that has one of the most dedicated playerbases, Not to mention the fact that he's a champion who drops off steeply in effectiveness the farther you climb. giving him even just some power back doesn't feel inappropriate. Referencing all of the things we nerfed on him in the past is somewhat misleading, since you're talking about a time before runes reforged, and he was sporting a winrate over 50% of his games." - Riot Maple

I just wanna point this out as evidence that he's pretty much saying "One of our most profitable champion has a low win-rate, we need to buff him quickly before people decide to stop playing him and buy his skins."

Riot Maple, this champion is cancer for the lower elos. Not to mention that the majority of Yasuo mains that people encounter are rather toxic and feeding. Giving this buff brings more of these accounts to happen in Rank. This champion ruins the fun in laning and group fighting as is, so buffing him is only a matter of time when 100% ban rate will happen.

Currently Yasuo is at a stable state in my opinion, he isn't "too much" to handle but this buff will make him too much.

How do you misread that so powerfully? What he said was closer to. A champion with one of the most dedicated playerbases isnt doing well in the hands of those players which is bad considering you should perform way above average if you main a champion. To have that many people underperform most likely warrants a buff.

IMo he should definitely be buffed because you know what makes up a playerbase? Actual league of legends players! I would think they would like their champion to be effective considering the time they put into him. Hilariously yasuo isnt even cancer anymore. Now he just has people who are still salty from how good he was a long time ago still screaming about it and they are about as dedicated to that as his players are to playing him.

Your definition of stable is 44-45% winrate? of course you think that because he's actually just bad now.

That's not what he said though. Please don't spread misinformation by claiming that a Rioter said they buffed a champion to sell skins. The have never said this and claiming that they have is biased and disrespectful.

I don't get it, if yasuo mains are just toxic feeders then why don't people want a buff? Then maybe, I don't know, they might stop feeding and those players might stop getting pissed off? At least that seems logical to me. For the record I have never played Yasuo once in my life, I just think he's very easy to counter.

inb4 downvotes from all the people who ban yas every game because they don't know how to play against him. Just like there's a learning curve to playing him there's also a learning curve to playing against him.
