Diamond here, former master tier player in season 4. Figure why not chime in.

Cass in top lane is already something that isn't viable in solo Q. She has no mobility in her kit and is already limited to taking two combat summoners (ghost and flash) in order to be effective in fights. Playing her top in solo Q is just asking to be repeat chain ganked by the jungler while the enemy top lane tps into bot lane. The amount of map pressure you have to sacrifice to play cass in the top lane makes her unviable as a solo Q pick for top lane. So why you are complaining about her going top seems pretty silly to me.

If you want to complain about the state of cass in general, sure, that might be fair. Or if you want to complain about the state of AP itemization just being better than AD itemization, sure. These are fair criticisms for the champion. Complaining about her going top is a non factor, its just not viable competitively in any kind of game where the players aren't braindead and incapable of applying a counter strategy that abuses the summoner spells she will take.

In summary: Complaining about Cass top lane = silly. Its already unviable in competitive play. If you are losing to it consistently its your fault and your lack of macro skill causing those losses. Complaining about cass in general = fair, but its really not the champ, its the itemization she uses.

just because they dont use it in competitive doesnt mean its not strong.. she can dick nearly all top lane champs and has a good build path for it as well. its harder to gank her top than it is mid due to the bushes and such.

rylais on cass is stupidly strong. i agree with its not her being strong itself. its the itemization that makes her super strong .

Top lane is by far the easiest gank actually. It is the longest lane with the least likely possibility of having an enemy teammate around to help your target get out of trouble. Taking cass there is basically a death sentence unless your jungler is just flat out incompetent.

Rylai's been busted for more than a year. They ain't gonna do nothing about it. And I'll keep abusing it.

In Bronze, where nobody has coordination, Cass top is actually a problem. Because everyone focuses on their own lane down here and ignores the others, that's probably why he's complaining.

I think he was just bitching because he's a melee top main and no melee top mains like anything cancerous WITH range laning against them. It's pure hell when your jungler is incompetent.

He also plays some of the most despised champions in League (Riven, Yasuo) and considering how much he complains about everything, I thought he was Bronze for a moment. Also, he has no reason to complain about AP toplaners when he plays Kennen and Teemo.

Granted, I main top lane tank and I try not to whine about how obnoxious it is laning against Quinn, Ryze, or others because, other than banning/counterpicking, there's nothing I can do about it.

You don't think Cassiopeia should be a valid top lane pick and that's fine, but nobody's going to agree with a post that looks like this, not even top laners that hate laning against Cass. Just saying.

Gather information on Cassiopeia's winrates (top and mid).
Determine what makes her unbalanced (this probably requires you to play her in PvP matches).
Make a thesis statement for your post (What is your post in one sentence?)
Type the post out using formatting, proper spelling and grammar, links to winrate and patch note information, all that good stuff (Try to put it in an easy-to-understand order and make edits as necessary).
Respond to comments with a level of calmness (explain why Sion's Q shouldn't have such a long channel time or Tristana's Rocket Jump should make her untargetable while in the air).
Stay out of peoples' profile information because that is rude and self-degrading (Since you evidently must dig through their stuff to shove it in their face that they're Bronze and their opinion doesn't matter rather than coming up with a well-informed response).

Do this and people might actually consider reading the whole post rather than skimming it and downvoting it.

everyone that has played in diamond+ vs the meta champions has said the same thing as me. ap itemization is cancer and the top 4 ap champs right now are dominating without having to lift a finger.

everyone else is groveling to have an impact on the game while ap champs have everything under their fingertips.
