I don't understand why everybody stopped playing him. His "he's so fucking broken" nerf was -4 AD now he isn't played anymore. Anybody who does pick him and does the same stupid Tri-Force build still does the same stupid shit.

You never know. Syndra and Veigar were considered "minor reworks" during the Mage Update, and they arguably had more changes than Vel'Koz, who was a "major rework"
resteel1 votesSame reason people don't play champions like Garen, Lux . Fizz or Leblanc all the time. They are four of the strongest champions in the game but there are still games without them why? One simple reason: We are humans and 95% of the time we care about what others say even if they are complete randoms so unless we really enjoy the champion to the point it out weighs our feelings towards the opinions of others we will subconsciously start to agree / change our thoughts based on the opinions of others. Hell I used to play the hell out of some Zed and thought I was the shiz ya know then I listened to others and saw another Zed do the same things I was doing just as good as me and thought to myself "Holy fuck I'm not the shiz that champion is..." and stopped playing em cause it made me feel unskillful and a prick. So yeah mostly for that reason is why people don't play these "Broken" champions.

I beleive they plan to make him more AP Ekko rather than Tank Ekko, so theres that.
