Riot you had a formula that worked

You had a formula that people enjoyed even if it had expoitable problems

It had worked for 5 years

But then your avarice came in

You didn't bother trying to fix the game but instead tried adding more

You try so hard on making money rather than making a game that makes sense

and to some people think this game just doesn't make sense anymore

I know this is looks like a QQ thread but seriously Riot you are taking away what brought people to your game in the first place

If Rito could have just taken Season 4 and try, just try to make everything mathematically and strategically balanced even if some champs were broken I would still enjoy this game through its other problems

Riot I really hope that just because we are dedicated MOBA players you don't believe we are dedicated to you

Riot you have such a large playerbase, I just hope you don't fuck it up

I'll repeat this on as many threads as I have to:

If you don't like the game, stop playing it. For good. I know it's addictive as fuck and it's difficult, but if you're 100% truly opposed to Riot's business model and (attempt at) game balancing, leave.

They won't care about actually fixing shit until people start leaving the game in droves.

LoL has always been a mess when it comes to balance, it's just nowadays it's more serious than it was before when back then it was just more or less hilarious.

The 2 major problems with Riot's balance:

  1. They don't improve upon what they have, but simply delete and add.
  2. They intentionally balance the game with a bias because they for some reason think an objective balance/fairness is elitist.

You could probably Say that the LCS Ruins everything. Riot can't/won't change anything drastic. (like fix Annie's major counterplay issues) while they are staples of the LCS. Except in the case where those picks make the LCS Stagnant in which case Riot changes up the abilities and people stop playing it. (regardless of whether they were strong in YoloQ.)

Of coarse anything that isn't an LCS staple, is basically free game for balance. Which is why they quickly cave in to the demands of the players. And if that turns them into a staple LCS pick. Then they become sluggish to counter balance the changes.

And now that Worlds is over. All bets are off. Riot no longer has to worry about alienating the LCS players. And of coarse they don't care about the low level players because they should strive to get better. (instead of complain about 'What's broken in Bronze")

But everything said, I personally Embrace change. League of Legends is a living game that is meant to change. (If you don't like that, I recommend picking up chess.) I also enjoy watching the LCS, believing that Riot should prevent it from becoming stagnant, while lower level players should strive to become their level.
