@Riot Nasus is a boring champion

I want to start by saying this is NOT a QQ thread about Nasus being "op" or "needs nerfz". I just think he should be on list of some sort of a rework because his current kit is probably the most boring in league of legends. I mean, you have a champion who's inherent kit encourages him to not play the game. they encourage him to just farm his Q for most of the game while occasionally TPing to a fight if that. When you have a nasus on your team you hate it. when you are against a nasus you love it...then hate it. and honestly his identity isn't a good one. He doesn't help his team and you can abuse him for not helping his team. But then out of nowhere he is this monster. its like a ticking time bomb identity...when there are a slew of other champions that do this...that actually are encouraged to join the game.

and this is mainly because his Q stacks infinitely. when should a nasus not take the time to stack his Q? the answer is never because it is almost always a good idea to stack your Q and get stronger. I don't know what the solution is to this since I am not a designer. maybe make the stacks cap...but at certain threshholds of stacks it gives nasus great buffs(more dmg to towers, utility slow/stun, etc. etc. etc) that encourage him once he finishes stacking it join his team. you could then give him utility, a way to deal with kiting besides wither. etc. etc. But in his current state he is just flat out boring. not broken. not overpowered. just simply not fun for league of legends.

Can you just leave him alone? If his kit is boring then don't play him, you have 120+ other options don't ruin it for those of us who love him.

His kit has aged quite nicely despite being an original-40 champion and never getting reworked, and to be honest right now he is on the weak side because his hardest counter Darius is getting picked every game, Garen is actually doing more damage than him while still building full tank, and Mordekaiser's 3rd Q is essentially a 1000 stack Nasus Q, without any of the required stacking.

if you love nasus...wouldn't want to see him get some love? I don't play nasus really. I'm saying I wish he was more fun to play with on your team. and against. I love the dawg, but don't you want to see him have a way of getting strength rather than just infinitely stacking a Q?

That infinite stacking is why I love Nasus. It's such a simple yet powerful mechanic and is completely unique. It's one-shot fantasy is what has Nasus mains spending all game playing the stacking game. He's like Darius to be honest, he doesn't really care about his team, he didn't pick Darius to be an asset to his team. He picked Darius because he wants to live the dream of one-shotting squishies over and over again. Same with Nasus.

Nasus let's take a look, shall we.First off if everyone just farms Q.......you farm while i push lane all the way to your base with my E. second yes if you farm Q late game you are a beast at the cost of missing important earl mid game fights and it is my opinion that is nwhere the tone of the late game is set.

items:item 3025 item 3110 item 3089 item 3151 item 3135 item 3020 just my favs and ya lvl 6 I'm destroying minion waves and pushing turrets, which means i have time to help push mid or drop your turret whichever is called for at the time.

now everyone knows to beat nasus its kiting or be really good at diving him but remember im still farming my Q as well its not my first priority reason for that is i find building him as a tanky mage fits my playstyle just fine.Just my thoughts on it

Personally I think how he feels depends on how good the Nasus player is. I've played with and against Nasus recently and I liked the Nasus I played with because he was able to balance farming with joining the rest of us, as a good Nasus should do. Playing against Nasus was quite fun too - he got very strong but became less threatening over time because we were able to peel him and focus him down.

I think laning against him is a horrible experience because facing a Nasus puts a huge amount of pressure on your top laner to shut him down, but for everyone else I think he's not too bad, really. I find him quite interesting to face/work with honestly.

Of course, when you get the Nasus who's determined to waste his mid game spike and just farm all game long without ever interacting, then it's not fun, because it rarely works out. But this is the case for every champ with a tendency for splitpushing - it's a horrible experience if the person using them just doesn't know how to do it effectively.

Nasus is not boring; that is merely your opinion as someone who doesn't play Nasus. The word you are looking for is "overloaded". Believe it or not, a champion does not need to have an overloaded kit to be fun. I know, even Riot would be shocked by this statement.

Also, you said you don't really play Nasus. Then might I ask why you think your opinion really matters? If you don't play Nasus, then your opinion on his game play is literally worthless. Not trying to be mean, but a similar comparison can be found in an art student trying to tell an engineer how to make a building structurally sound. The only experience you have is playing with or against one. It would be different if you had 100+ wins on him. Nasus's identity is solid contrary to your beliefs. He is a champion who is notoriously weak early, but has probably one of, if not the, strongest late games of any champion.

Just because a champion (one you don't really play) doesn't fit your definition of "fun" does not mean said champion is boring. That is a self-centered view.

wait. hold up. do you really need to flip out like that? he thinks Nasus is boring. So what? He doesnt work for riot. He cant change your champion. Whats so wrong for wanting Nasus to be more of a team player instead basically holding up a giant middle finger to his team like 90% of Nasus players do. Just lashing out because of fear of change.
