Can we disable tank items on any champ that isnt a tank?

The problem is that this would destroy build diversity. So if this happened, why not disable Mage items for champions that aren't mages?

Then we'd see a lot more Tanks being picked without fear of an Assassin or Fighter trying to match the sustain so they can still fight.

I'll disagree because it get rid of off meta itemization, It's fun for people to play champions differently, AP Rengar? AD Vel'koz? how long until they change that as well. I understand tank assassins are annoying but completely blocking it off isn't the answer.

Disabling any build diversity because of a few champions that are oppressive is not the way to go. Not only that, but disabling tank items means that you can only build glass cannon on carry champions, no defensive options is a terrible idea.
