Why does Duskblade proc off traps?

ChickenWrap··10 votes·1,126 views

The tooltip clearly says it procs off wards and disables traps once it's been procced, so why does it proc off traps.

As a Shaco main, this is the most frustrating thing in the world. They already have Hexdrinker, now they don't even have to try to beat me. They just need to walk into a bush I have a box in, waiting for them.

No Oracle's to check.

Facecheck the bush, get rewarded for it, and rack up a free kill. I can't even think about running to another trap, because that one will be disabled too.

Seriously?

I'm amazed that you still play this game after how much they fucked Shaco in the ass with the new items and changes.

He was getting fucked last season too. It's nothing new to us.

If they make it even worse I guess I'll go main Kha and Elko.

I just stopped playing, fixes all the bullshit they do.

You seriously complaining about frustrating game mechanics as Shaco? lmao

ChickenWrap2 votes

Lol? Shaco is extremely easy to deal with and always has been. Between free vision from champino spells to Oracle's to Duskblade to old chicken camp and everything inbetween. If you're a decent player, Shaco shouldn't cause you and grief. You want to hear about some frustrating game mechanics?

  1. Ryze's existence
  2. Fizz E
  3. Lee Sin Q+R instagib
  4. Hecarim's existence
  5. Riven's mobility
  6. Zed ult
  7. Tanks that build almost exclusively tanky but still deal tons of damage
  8. Etc.

What traps specifically? Teemo shrooms are absolutely wards, as are any other traps you can teleport to. In fact I'm pretty certain that most of the traps that aren't are visible.

It specifically clarifies "Wards" enable it and it disables "Traps" if you get near them after a ward has already enabled the passive

So no, they're not wards.

I'm guessing it's because Duskblade is supposed to let you roam unseen by wards or traps. It can just be "you can't be seen by sentry wards or traps" instead, and I think that'd be fair enough.

And then it shouldn't disable traps while in combat.

That would be fair.

Because they're coded as minions.

Shaco dared to show his face as a viable pick. Back into the gutter he goes. </3
