Toxic Abilities
Ever notice how some parts of certain kits are overly abused? Like the ones that are extremely overbearing on what they can do and how they are used?
Here are some examples:
Nunu's Ice Blast skill: Ice Blast RANGE: 550 COST: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90 MANA COOLDOWN: 6 / 5.5 / 5 / 4.5 / 4 Ice Blast ACTIVE: Nunu throws a ball of ice at the target enemy, dealing them magic damage, Slow icon slowing their attack speed by 25% and their movement speed for 2 seconds. MAGIC DAMAGE: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 90% AP) SLOW: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60%
Note that this is an auto target attack and cannot be dodged. Plus his passive to add to that.
Nunu Visionary: Nunu's next ability has no cost after he lands 5 basic attacks.
Udyr is another one that has a super toxic ability:
Udyr's Bear Stance: Bear Stance COST: 47 / 44 / 41 / 38 / 35 MANA COOLDOWN: 6 ON-TARGET COOLDOWN: 6 Bear Stance ACTIVE: For a few seconds, Udyr is Ghost ghosted, gains bonus movement speed, and dashes towards nearby enemy champions upon Stun icon stunning them with a basic attack. BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED DURATION: 2 / 2.25 / 2.5 / 2.75 / 3 STANCE: Udyr's basic attacks Stun icon stun his target for 1 second. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every few seconds.
Dr. Mundo has a similarly toxic build:
Dr. Mundo's Infected Cleaver: Infected Cleaver RANGE: 1000 / 60 SPEED: 1850 COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 HEALTH COOLDOWN: 4 Infected Cleaver ACTIVE: Dr. Mundo hurls a cleaver in the target direction, dealing magic damage and Slow icon slowing by 40% for 2 seconds the first enemy it hits, and healing for half of the cost. MAGIC DAMAGE: 15 / 17.5 / 21 / 22.5 / 25% of target's current health If the Infected Cleaver kills its target, cost is refunded. Infected Cleaver's has a minimum damage threshold, and is capped against non-champions. 「 MAX. NON-CHAMPION DAMAGE: 300 / 350 / 400 / 450 / 500 」
I could go on with more, but does anyone see the pattern? Low Cooldown, CC, with devastating effects that can be used and abused over and over. This is not healthy for the game and I would never advocate these types of Low Cooldown, CC with devastating effects even on champs I enjoy playing. If it isn't healthy for the game someone is bound to abuse them for their own benefit. That generates more toxic players and makes the game very unwanting. I ask that Riot takes a look at any champ that has this kind of abusive and toxic playable abilities and changes them for the sake of the game. We need a better balanced game.
