My quick thoughts on Yorick
He feels a lot like Trundle or a Nasus with his Q
His ult is strong and it does indeed split push a lane on its own. I'd love to see what his ult plus a baron could do. If you love to split push like I do, he's the split push champ. His wave clear is not super fast though like a GP.
Decent farming champion
His w cage is a lot smaller than it seems and you have to be pretty close to hit it.
He's surprisingly tanky late game. Just with warmogs and another item, I was up to 4100 HP.
His quotes are pretty cool
I still feel he's missing something visually. I don't really see me buying a skin for him nor can I see what skins can be made aside from Dark Star. I played Sol last night and he looks like something a kid put together compared to that masterpiece.
I don't see him having high pick rates in the low-elo's. I think a lot of people are going to pick him once and not pick him again.
My guess is he would get wiped by ranged top laners like Kayle and Gnar.
He's a decent turret hugger as you can use your cage to get a freebie kill.
